Our Story
Emoquest started off as a project for a school hackathon. I began talking to educators
to see if anyone could benefit from this random project I had put together.
That's when I realized how difficult it was to teach social-emotional
skills. Teachers have enough on their plate with their main curriculum, but
some were spending their limited time creating social stories from scratch.
There had to be a better way. Fast forward to today, I work on Emoquest during nights
and weekends, supported by feedback from countless SPED professionals.
I believe that socio-emotional skills are just as important as academic
skills.
Emoquest hopes to teach students the socio-emotional skills necessary
for the rest of school and life.
